Dear Chronicles Readers and Subscribers,
I am skipping out the back door to music camp in just a few minutes. I will be north of Santa Rosa with three hundred folk musicians.
This is a time of the year when I don’t cook: the farm deliveries are on hiatus and the fridge is full of Christmas leftovers.
Happy New Year to You All. May 2012 bring you what you need and at least some of what you want. I’ll see you again in January. — Sharyn
Happy New Year to you too! And have fun!
Thank you, Susan. Hope your new year is off to a good start.
Have a great time Sharyn, and happy new year to you too!
Thank you, Eva, I’m just back, soon to be reading about your New Year’s adventures.
Happy New Year Sharyn !
Thank you, Claire.
You are fortunate to have all those leftovers. I clearly didn’t cook enough as we have NOTHING leftover and it is always so nice to have something to put between two slices of bread.
The only year I didn’t cook was a year when I lived abroad and I felt bereft. Mom and I have cooked Christmas dinner together for over thirty years.
Have a wonderful time – it sounds like great fun.
It was fun, Jane — hope you had a good start to the new year.
Happy New Year … have fun at camp! … Susan
Thank you, Susan. Happy New Year to you, too.
Happy New Years!!!
Thank you. I hope you had good year-end celebrations, too.
Enjoy Sharyn and see you soon! Happy New Year!
Thanks, Linda. I can’t wait to see what you’ve been cooking.
What a beautiful creative blog, I love the water colours you are painting instead of photos.
Thank you so much for saying so. I’d rather play with paint and watercolor pencils than take photos, especially when there are already so many lovely photos on food blogs. And I am fond of saying I want to eat my food rather than photograph it. Cheers!
Happy New Year Sharyn, enjoy your break away.
Thanks, Ciara. It was indeed lovely to have a break, a change of scenery, different activities. I hope you enjoyed your year’s end and year’s start.
Happy New Year Sharyn! Hope you have had a fantastic Festive period and a wondeful time at music camp! So pleased I found your blog this year! I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to reading more this year!
Hello Sharyn, I’ve tagged you in the Food Blogger Uncovered Award. I hope you like it! Please have a look and if you want to answer the questions too please do. I look forward to reading more about you and your baking inspiration soon!

Thanks, Lauren. That is kind of you. I enjoy reading your blog, too. Thank you for the new award — I’ll look at it now.
This is excellent, Lauren. I’ll answer the questions in my next blog post — thanks again.
Ha! You must be having a grand time… replenishing your energies with like-minded folks and mesmerizing sounds. I look forward to the words that may come from this escapade and experience!
Thank you, Scribe. It is good to change things up — sometimes I forget that.
Sounds like fun! Happy New Year.
Thanks, Greg and Katherine. I’m still catching up on the posts I missed — saw the eggnog with butter and the black-eyed peas.
Happy New Years! Enjoy every minute at music camp!
